Embeba Sensitive Skincare

EmBeba Skincare is a unique product concept with all-natural ingredients that makes skincare based on dermatology-tested, chemical-free skincare for babies and children.

Approach

EmBeba curates generation-tested remedies from around the world, reformulates them using modern technology, and adds an element or two of fun, to help families struggling with skin sensitivity! EmBeba is a direct translation of “baby” from Vietnamese (Em Bé) and Bosnian (Beba). We were approached by EmBeba to design their packaging, including balm tubes, pouches, and boxes. 

We designed the packaging to be vibrant, with Baby Ja (Panda) on the front, showing him in a natural scenario. It is inspired by all the clean, all-natural ingredients that go into the product and soothe and heal the most sensitive skin on newborns, toddlers, and kids. The inside of the packaging for Diaper Balm has an outlined drawing showing the character in a lab working on making the product. The drawing can be colored by kids. This adds an interesting layer to the entire package. You have to twist the packaging tube, push it up, and apply it with a single swipe! This helps keep your hands clean and your baby’s bum clear. The Don’t Be Rash Diaper Balm has won the Parents' Best Skincare for Kids Award and the Mom's Choice Award! The materials used are thick cardboard, which adds an extra layer of sustainability to the product. Diaper balm turns into a coveted box for crayons or a colorful seed starter. The aim here is to prioritize reusable or refillable packaging. All the paper and plastic used in this packaging is made from  100% recycled materials.
